224 Dating with a diffe caren “Being connected to the business world is an important aspect of my work”, said Christoph Erdmann, Alumni Chapter President at SAE Institute Leipzig. This networking opportunity was the central subject of the first career brunch. Five employers from Leipzig and nine alumni had the chance to briefly introduce themselves, speed- dating style, and to make some new contacts. In rounds of ten minutes each, the employers and alumni swapped their current job openings, wishes and references. After the discussions, further details were ex- changed at the buffet over cold drinks and delicious finger food. The career brunch was embraced by all participants and the first projects are already in progress. Another career brunch is scheduled to take place in 2013, with an increased number of employers and alumni to offer an even better meeting place.
