sgow +++ Fraser Wins Global Film Accolades +++ Film Screening ‚No Laughing Matter‘. +++ Poppyscotland Film Suc uccess INDEX Poppyscotland volunteers competition celebrating up-and-coming film direc- tors, producers and writers with the awards being presented at the Houses of Parliament. The competition is a Parliamentary initiative to raise the profile of the importance of copyright for filmmakers, of film itself and the creative industries in general amongst Parliamentarians and the Government. Since then, excerpts of the documentary, have been used as part of Poppyscotland’s 2012 PoppyAppeal campaign that included Scott visiting local primary schools to screen the film and teach pupils about the Poppy Appeal and answer their questions about Poppyscotland and film making. Scott was also asked to provide coverage of Poppy- scotland’s 2012 Poppy Appeal launch in Glasgow, which included performances from Susan Boyle and the famous Military Wives Choir, as well as filming a secret ‘flashmob’ of the 80 military wives choir mem- bers in Glasgow’s main shopping centre, Buchanan Galleries. n he prestigious Best Docu- m, Fought with Weapons, e for Poppyscotland and the House’ - a national
