tudent exchange - Fontys students in Belgrade +++ Learn to become a radio & TV presenter at SAE Belgrade +++ Ma 013 INDEX n St. Sava Academy, one of the most important national events in Serbia organised by the Ministry of Education, is traditionally held over the week- end at Sava Center in Belgrade. This year Predrag Milosevic, Head of the Interactive Animation depart- ment at SAE Institute Belgrade, was the Art Director for this event and the whole animation was created and realised by SAE students. “This was the biggest and most challenging project recently. I am especially proud of the results and that our students acted like true professionals, not students. Such a complex animation for a big stage such as Sava Center was definitely beyond the scope of student work”, said Professor Milosevic. The play was directed by Serbian director Darko Kamarit, the main animations were made by second year students Mladen Nikolic, Marko Vukovic and Strahinja Kocic, assisted by first years Dragan Petrovic, Stefan Janjic, Catherine Radic and Milena Djukic. For the second year students this was a paid internship and a new business ex- perience. SAE Institute takes care of its students and when they emerge from their studies they have not only the appropriate knowledge, but also with business contacts and references, ready to professionally respond to customer requirements and deadlines. This experience will certainly be a recommendation for them for future jobs. n animated scene at Sava Center
