210 Frankfurt+++ Nerd Alert Night at SAE Frankfurt + Nerd Alert Night a CampusNews SAE & SAE ALUMNI NEWS // EUROPEAN NEWS n GO EAST - YOU ARE IN THE FOREST. If you know these words then you are probably a com- puter nerd and would have had fun at the nerd night at SAE Frankfurt. We organised a game night for the students with different consoles. The idea came from playing a Super Nintendo console often used by the students and supervisors during breaks and after exercises. It started out as a casual idea which developed into a fun and epic nerd evening at SAE Frankfurt. For the event devices such as televisions and projectors were connected with different consoles which were brought in by the SAE staff. Then the games and tournaments could begin. There was a small BBQ in the yard so students could avoid engaging in battle with a growling stomach. The ʻNERD alert!ʼ advertised evening began with a barbecue with sausages and beer in the yard and ended late at night with burning and swollen thumbs resulting from repeatedly carrying out special moves on the consoles.
