ts visit 43rd IFFI 2012 +++ SAE Institute Bangalore students visit 43rd IFFI 2012 +++ SAE Institute Bangalore studen ore students INDEX The highlight of the festival was an amazing docu- mentary about P.K Nair who was the film archivist in FTII, Pune for the greater part of his life. It shed light on how well our film culture was preserved for the years he was there. He had a unique skill of col- lecting as well as taking care of film cans from old Indian cinemas. Anjali Menon’s ʻManchadikkuruʼ was another amazing film screened at the festi- val, which showed how families and the value of relationships are ripped apart in certain circum- stances. We visited some of the famous beaches and landmarks, took a lot of amazing photos to remind us of our memories in the future. Some of us were able to meet the veteran Malayalam filmmaker and writer Shri. Adoor Gopalakrishnan, which was one of the high points of our lives, not just the trip! We would like to attend IFFI every year if possi- ble. Our faculty member Mr Jenin Raj was great at coordinating and arranging our every need. Most of us grew closer to each other on this trip as a result of our various shared experiences.
