100 “Hey, what do you think about sampling a church organ?” This was the first idea for this stunning project. Pierre Degardin and Sibyll Sewarte talked about her final diploma project; recording a church organ for a classic composition she had submitted. While running the recording of that smaller church organ in Pont, NRW, Sibyll already told herself that it would not be the last one. The next record- ing though had to be accomplished using a much larger technical setup.After a short time brainstorm- ing, the idea for Pressurized-Air was born! “The team members should always be reliable and open for new ideas.” Theprojecthadtobecarriedoutwithinthreemonths, so a team had to be set up immediately. Choosing your team members sometimes can cost you many hours of argumentations. The most impor- tant factors for selecting your startup team is that the members should always be reliable and open for new ideas. Finally we were a team of four audio engineers, two filmmakers, a 3D artist and a web designer. During the preproduction process, the whole team visited the St. Mary Basilica in Kevelaer.
