He was helped by a powerhouse crew, that included many SAE com- rades as well as a dozen make-up artists and over fifty enthusiastic extras. For the first time the young director was able to work with a substantial produc- tion budget, that he managed to raise himself. He was then interviewed in the middle of the shoot by Daily Movies magazine, which published an article about his film Dead, in their December issue. ‘Festival Tous Ecrans’ On the occasion of the 18th International Fiction Film Festival of Geneva, students Shams Abou El Enein, Yohann Benedetti, Alexandre Blanc, Nico- las Comtesse, Bryan El Alami, Julia Jeanneret and Samuel Reuschle, had the opportunity to encounter actors and directors, plunging camera and micro- phone in hand into the heart of film creation. After shooting several interviews and daily events they were able to present several reports covering the highlights to festival officials nnts Lionel Balmer, Maeva Merour, Michael Boga on the set of ‘Dead’ Photo:romanwilli
