Energy Groove Radio has announced it’s first ever SAE Alumni Awards celebrating broadcasting excellence.
The winning categories will be for the Energy Groove Radio Station of the Year, and Energy Groove Radio Show of the Year – broadcast live from SAE Institute campuses in Sydney, Milan, Paris, Munich, Oxford and San Francisco.

This year, the team at Energy Groove wanted to create a new Alumni Award category to celebrate 10 years of the awards. We look forward to finding out who the listener’s favourites are”.
Now celebrating their 10th year, the star-studded awards ceremony takes place at the Astra Kulturhaus nightclub, Berlin and has become one of the ‘must attend’ events in the creative media education calendar. In 2012, highflying Energy Groove and Emirates Airlines started an exciting music venture. Emirates now play Energy Groove radio across their entire fleet of over 220 aeroplanes, keeping their high flyers happy!
Energy Groove’s partnership with SAE Institute has allowed talented up-and-coming students currently studying with SAE to have a ‘voice’ on radio and develop their audio skills by becoming directly involved in the day-to-day running of a live broadcast radio station.
