380 Capetown +++ SAE Cape Town’s Workshop W n SAE Cape Town is continually pursuing ways to provide support and facilitate knowledge-sharing through workshops, seminars and presentations to students wanting to pursue careers in the music and film industries in Africa. While the entertainment industry in Africa is one of the fastest growing in the world, the continent still lacks the skilled personnel needed to help it realise its true potential. In 2012 the school organised and hosted Young Guru, known as Jay Z’s engineer and DJ, for a se- ries of workshops in Cape Town.
