Round up the Projection Width and Projection Height values. I have altered the previous value of “141.265” to 150 (Figure 15). As we still have to carry out additional mappings and the proportions must always be right it makes sense to enter values that are easy to remember. If you look at the object from more than one side you will determine that the checker is only opti- mally laid out from the mapping perspective. Se- lect all faces that you can find in the perspective view. As you can see, the corresponding faces are also selected in UV Texture Editor. By pushing the separate button in the UV Texture Editor we sep- arate the selected faces from the rest of the UV (Figure 16).
