SAE Alumni Magazine 1|12

Bei Interesse bitte unter sessions.sae.at/contact melden. n SAE Sessions are about implementing an idea which unites several departments and sends the interdisciplinary thoughts of a media school out into the world. It all began with a student’s idea. SAE Sessions should be an SAE version of sessions such as at Abbey Road and similar events, i.e. a band is recording live in the studio while being filmed in professional light. The finished clips will be shown on the web platform. The interdisciplinary message is at the foreground of this proj- ect. So the team consisted of 8 people from 3 departments. The entire production was planned, implemented and presented by 4 sound students, 2 film students and 2 web students. The project itself was part of the Bachelor programme at SAE Vienna where students had to plan and realise a cross-curric- ular practical project in accordance with the rules of project management. The learning effect for all participants was very high and the final result was impressive. In future, we would like to see more SAE students worldwide implement the concept of SAE Sessions and to fill the web platform with content.
