Alumni Spotlight – Peter Hornak, Class of 1979 n We recently caught up with Sydney alumnus Peter Hornak – who graduated in 1979 and was part of one of the first ever SAE courses taught by Dr Dr Tom Misner himself – to chat about his long and detailed career working in audio. Peter has finally found his niche working in audio court reporting in Hong Kong. He originally began studying electrical engineering at Sydney University but his “first love” of audio electronics proved too strong and thus he soon made the switch to SAE Institute where he said, “I loved every minute of the course because it put together two of my main interests, music and electronics. I was particularly interested in studio design, something that has helped me enormously when contribut- ing to the design and acoustic treatments of courtrooms in some of my projects.” n Alumni Spotlight – Peter Hornak, Klasse von 1979 Wir trafen uns mit Sydney-Alumnus Peter Hornak (der 1979 seinenAbschluss machte und Teil eines der ersten SAE Institute Kur- se aller Zeiten war, noch von Dr. Tom Misner selbst unterrichtet), um detailliert über seine lange Audio-Karriere zu sprechen.
