SAE Institute Alumni from Europe and United States joined the biggest stars for music’s biggest night at the 57th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
Florian Lagatta, a former student at SAE Institute Paris was amongst the night’s Grammy winners as engineer/mixer on Album of the Year, Morning Phase by American singer songwriter Beck.
Florian is no stranger to the Grammy Awards following her success in 2014 with Record Of The Year, Get Lucky by Daft Punk & Pharrell Williams and Album Of The Year, Random Access Memories, again by Daft Punk.
But the star studded night belonged to SAE Institute New York graduate Jonathan Lee, winner of two Grammy Awards in the US, for his work on ‘Beyonce’ by Beyonce. The album was produced at Jungle City Studios in New York.
Lee, a graduate of the campuses Audio Technology Programme (2011) was rewarded for his work as Tracking Engineer on ‘Drunk In Love which won both Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song.
Kerry Pompeo also a graduate of SAE New York (2004) carried away her award for Best Spoken Word Album – Diary of a Mad Diva (Joan Rivers) – Beatstreet Productions.

British soul singer Sam Smith topped the night by taking home four awards for Best New Artist; Best Pop Vocal Album, Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year.
Seven-time Grammy winner and nominee Rihanna delivered a world debut performance of her newly released single FourFiveSeconds with fellow Grammy winning collaborators Kanye West and Paul McCartney.
Madonna caused a sensation wearing her matador outfit custom made by Givenchy and was later joined by male dancers wearing horns to perform Living For Love, from her new album Rebel Heart.
