The contest is 13 to 19 year-olds – giving the promising singers exposure and a helping hand on the way to a successful career. SAE Atlanta course coordinator Scott Kieklak is on the board of directors of the competition which uses all proceeds to support children’s charity Variety of Georgia. Students from SAE Atlanta had the opportunity to help oversee the live sound during the Top 20 preliminary round held at The Buckhead Theatre, Atlanta. They also ensured the sound was fit for the Atlanta final at The Egyptian Ballroom at the Fox Theatre.
