And this year it proved the point in spectacular style as its graduation party was the biggest ever held. The event saw more than 100 people descend on Soundtrade Studios in Stockholm. Part of SAE, the studios have been one of ­Sweden’s premier venues for the last four decades and ­welcomed the likes of Abba and Westlife. Current students were among those invited to the event which saw graduating classes from the music business and audio engineering programme given a send-off to remember. This year we have had the pleasure of hosting a ­couple of really big events, with both students, ­graduates and industry people joining together and creating an even more inspiring environment to ­connect, exchange experiences and create future collaborations. The legendary venue was also the setting for a SAE Alumni Sweden event which saw more than 70 ­alumni members catch-up and mingle. Those attending could also hear more about the ­alumni network, future plans and forthcoming ­meet-ups.
