Carlos is the Audio Production programme leader at SAE Institute, UK and holds an SAE/Middlesex University MA in Creative Media and Summa Cum Laude diploma from Berklee College of Music. Roey Izhaki has been involved with mixing since 1992. He is an academic lecturer in the field of audio engineering and gives mixing seminars across Europe at various schools and exhibitions. He is currently lecturing in the Audio Engineering department at SAE Institute, London. Roey is the author of the book Mixing Audio: Concepts, Practices and Tools which teaches the importance of a mixing vision, how to craft and evaluate your mix and then take it a step further. He describes the theory and the tools used and how these are put into practice while creating mixes. n
