In the workshop lasting went through all areas concept to implementatio and gave all the budd Artists valuable tips. n Trip into film history n Our students from the Digital Film & VFX department visited the Camera Obscura in the dome of the Broich Water Tower in Mülheim an der Ruhr on 28th June. In addition to the largest walk-in Camera Obsura in the world the historic water tower has housed the Prehistory of Film Museum since 1992. Museum head Dr Tobias Kaufhold welcomed the students before the Head of Education, Dr Jörg Schmitz took them on a three-hour tour through the world of visual perceptions, optical illusions and the physical background of moving images. Comprehensive documentation on the subject “wie die Bilder laufen lernten” (how images learnt to move) was provided and the visit was very exciting and educational for our students. n
