186 A nd students from our Cologne campus had just that when they ‘went live’ and were given the responsibility for looking after two large festivals. The festivals were Chic Belgique and Fete de la musique - attended by 10,000 festival-goers and taking place in Cologne for the first time. The students’ tasks included setting up all the equip- ment and making sure the concerts ran smoothly. As you would expect, SAE staff members were on hand to give help and advice. And experienced System Technician, Michael Häck gave a seminar to present and past students on the world of PA systems.
