None more so than the visit of multi-Grammy nominated engineer Morten Lindberg. Morten is a world-renowned audio engineer known for his superb acoustic surround recordings and for his 2L high-quality record label. During the masterclass he explained the philosophy behind his recording. He also explained why he opted for Direct Stream Digital (DSD) and Digital eXtreme Definition (DXD) during the recording process, outlining their pros and cons. The masterclasses, some conducted using surround and even Auro-3D, were split into small groups to ensure all students absorbed what was being said.
