– TAKING PART IS EASY: STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS – Step Step by ■ Step 1: Go to our website: www.sae-alumni-award.org. There you will find additional information about all the award categories. When you have decided on a category please read the Terms & Conditions of Participation. Then please also read the information about what types of projects are accepted in each category. ■ Step 2: Have you decided on your category and read all the required information? Then download the entry form which can also be found on the website. ■ Step 3: The entry form must be completed in full. It must be either legibly handwritten or typed. This form must be sent with your project otherwise your entry is not valid. And please don‘t forget to sign it! ■ Step 4: Please prepare your project in accordance with the instructions and the Terms & Conditions of Participation, place it in an envelope with the entry form and send it to the address stated on the entry form. The closing date is 15th August as per the postage stamp. ■ Step 5: Now comes the waiting. We do not confirm receipt; if you are unsure if your project has been received just send us a message. All winners will be notified by us before the Awards Ceremony and invited to the SAE Alumni Convention. ■ Step 1: Geht auf unsere Website: www.sae-alumni-award.org. Dort findet ihr weitere Infos rund um alle Award-Kategorien. Wenn ihr euch für eine Kategorie entschieden habt, dann lest euch unbedingt vorher die Teilnahmebedingungen durch! Dort könnt ihr auch nachlesen, welche Art von Projekten in den einzelnen Kategorien eingereicht werden kann. ■ Step 2: Ihr habt eure Kategorie gefunden und alle nötigen Infos dazu durchgelesen? Dann ladet euch als nächstes das Teilnahme-Dokument runter, ihr findet es ebenso auf der Website. ■ Step 3: Das Teilnahme-Dokument muss komplett ausgefüllt werden, dies könnt ihr entweder gut lesbar schriftlich oder auch digital machen. Das Dokument muss unbedingt mit eurem Projekt verschickt werden, sonst ist eure Einreichung nicht gültig. Und bitte nicht vergessen zu un- terschreiben! ■ Step 4: Bitte bereitet euer Projekt gemäß den Vorschriften und Teilnah- mebedingungen vor. Dann packt ihr es zusammen mit dem Teilnahmedo- kument in einen Umschlag und schickt es an die Adresse, die ihr auf dem Teilnahmedokument findet. Der Einsendeschluss ist der 15. August! Es gilt der Poststempel. ■ Step 5: Nun heißt es abwarten. Wir verschicken keine Empfangsbestä- tigungen. Wenn ihr euch aber nicht sicher seid, ob euer Projekt angekom- men ist, schickt uns einfach eine Nachricht. Alle Gewinner werden von uns vor den Awards-Verleihung benachrichtigt und auf die SAE Alumni Convention eingeladen. An den SAE Alumni Awards kann jeder teilnehmen, egal ob Student, Alumnus, Industrievertreter oder einfach Medieninteressierter. Dement- sprechend hoch ist allerdings auch das Niveau. Um unseren SAE-Studen- ten ebenfalls die Chance zu geben, bei dieser Verleihung teilzunehmen, gibt es für aktuelle SAE-Studenten bereits seit 3 Jahren die SAE Junior Awards. Für die Junior Awards können Zwischenprojekte oder Abschluss- arbeiten, die während des Studiums am SAE Institute produziert wurden, eingereicht werden. „Und was gibt es zu gewinnen?“ Inzwischen spricht der Wert der SAE Alumni Awards bereits für sich und offnet Gewinnern immer öfter Türen zu angesagten, bekannten und renom- mierten Agenturen und Unternehmen. Und genau das ist es, was wir seit Anbeginn erreichen wollten – Perspektiven bieten. Selbstverständlich ge- hören ein wenig Ruhm und Ehre sowie neidische Blicke aus dem Publikum genauso zum Gewinn wie Preise im Wert von rund 6.250 €. „You Rock? Enroll!“ Hat euch der Ehrgeiz gepackt? Ihr wollt zeigen, was ihr könnt oder bisher schon geleistet habt? Dann solltet ihr die Chance auf keinen Fall verpassen, euer Projekt für die Alumni oder die Junior Awards einzureichen. Das Pro- zedere ist ziemlich einfach: Bis zum 15. August werden wir Einreichungen aus aller Welt annehmen, bewerten und letztendlich bei einer Jury Conference die Gewinner wählen. Am 18. Oktober 2012 treffen wir uns dann alle im Berliner FritzClub. Wir erwarten über 1.000 Besucher die gespannt auf die Ergebnisse der Jury warten. Im Anschluss werden unsere Gewinner ordentlich gefeiert. Doch bis es endlich soweit ist, heißt es weiterhin: You rock? Enroll! ■ Der SAE Alumni Award hat sich inzwischen zu einem etablierten Event im Rahmen der namenhaften SAE Alumni Convention entwickelt. Mittlerweile ist der glamouröse Abend im Berliner Fritz Club überhaupt nicht mehr wegzudenken. Doch dieses Jahr soll der Alumni Award die Zuschauer nicht nur zum Staunen bringen, sondern sie regelrecht aus den Socken hauen. Frisch poliert und mit einem neuem Konzept, wird sich der diesjährige Alumni Award wahrscheinlich noch einmal selbst übertreffen. Enroll!by Saskia Rinne Anyone can take part in the SAE Alumni Awards, whether they are stu- dents, alumni, industry representatives or interested in media. The stan- dard, however, is correspondingly high. In order to give our SAE students a chance to participate in these awards the SAE Junior Awards, which are for current SAE students, were introduced three years ago. Students can submit projects or final projects which were produced during their studies at SAE Institute. “And what can you win?” The value of the SAE Alumni Awards speaks for itself and more and more often doors are opening for the winners to hot, well-known and renowned agents and companies. And that is exactly what we have wanted to achieve since the beginning – offering prospects. A little fame and fortune as well as jealous glances from the public are of course part of winning just as much as the prizes which are worth around € 6,250. “You Rock? Then you shouldn‘t miss your chance to submit your project for the Alumni or Junior Awards. The procedure is quite simple: Entries from around the world are accepted until 15th August; they will then be evaluated and the winners chosen at the Judging Panel Conference. Then on 18th October 2012 we all meet up at the Fritz Club in Berlin. We estimate that over 1000 visitors will be excitedly waiting for the results of the judging panel.
