Side Effects n Qantm Paris was proud to welcome on-campus the Cana- dian company “Side Effects Software” for an amazing Master Class dedicated to creating 3D & VFX “Houdini”. For nearly two hours, students at Qantm Paris were able to see the extent of the possibilities of this working solution, and were able to direct questions to the famous 3D animation & VFX company. 3D creation software “Houdini” is part of the working solutions essential to the film industry for special effects. It has been used on the following blockbuster movies: Titanic, Blade, Mi- nority Report, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Men in Black, Spiderman, Tomb Raider, Underworld, Troy, Resident Evil, Narnia, Charlie and the Chocolatrie, Kingdom of Heaven, Sin City, X-Men, Silent Hill, Pirates of the Caribbean, Transform- ers, Hancock, Hellboy, Kung Fu Panda, Hulk, Batman, Wall-E, Avatar, Prince of Persia, Watchmen, The Clash of the Titans, Inception, Tron Heritage. n Side Effects Mardi 14 Juin 2011, Qantm Paris a été fier de recevoir dans ses locaux la société canadienne „Side Effects Software“ pour une présentation complète de leur logiciel de création 3D & VFX „Houdini“. Pendant près de 2 heures, les étudiants de Qantm Paris ont pu voir l‘étendue des possibilité de cette solution de travail et ont pu poser toutes leurs questions à la célèbre société d‘animation 3D & VFX Le logiciel de création 3D „Houdini“ fait parti des solutions de travail incontournables de l‘industrie du cinéma à effets spé- ciaux.
