We will be offering degree progression years in Audio Production and Digital Film Making with the qual- ification being a Bachelor of Arts. The Middlesex University DegreeAccredita- tion Panel commended SAE Institute Rotterdam for its academic excellence, dedication towards our students, our beautiful facilities and highly qualified faculty. We sincerely thank Middlesex University for appreciating our strive for excellence and look forward to welcoming our new degree students to SAE Institute Rotterdam in November this year. n ‘Degree Centre’Accreditatie Met trots kondigen wij aan dat SAE Instituut Rotterdam door Middlesex University geaccrediteerd is als “Degree Center”. De Rotterdamse vestiging van SAE Instituut gaat Degree progressie trajecten aanbieden in Audio Engineering en Digital Film Making die de kwalificatie van de Bachelor of Arts dragen. De “Middlesex University Degree Erkenningscommissie” prees SAE Instituut Rotterdam voor zijn wetenschappelijke excellentie, inzet in de richting van onze studenten, onze mooie faciliteiten en ons gekwalifi- ceerde faculteit. Wij willen onze oprechte dank uitbrengen aan Middlesex University voor de waardering de wij hebben gekregen voor onze inzet en kijken er naar uit om de eerste Degree studenten van SAE Instituut Rotterdam in november van dit jaar te verwelkomen in onze nieuwe opleidingen. DJB TestLab at SAE Institute Amsterdam n SAE Institute and DJBroadcast magazine organized the DJB Testlab event at the Amsterdam college. During this event visitors could attend workshops and demon- strations supported by manufacturers like Korg, Native Instruments, KRK, Sennheiser andApogee.These work- shops were given by leading Dutch music producers like Nobody Beats the Drums, DJ Kypski, Earth Tone Tek and Newworldaquarium. At the same time SAE lecturers gave workshops about Home Studio acoustics and the Basics of Mastering. With all studios and classrooms filled to capacity, we can only conclude it was a great success. Looking forward to TestLab edition II. n DJB TestLab bij SAE Institute Amsterdam Op 29 May organiseerde SAE Institute en DJBroadcast magazine het DJB Testlab evenement bij onze Amster- dams vestiging. Tijdens dit evenement konden bezoe- kers diverse workshop en demonstraties volgen. Deze werden verzorgd door vertegenwoordigers van merken als Korg, Native Instruments, KRK, Sennheiser en Apo- gee. Daarnaast werden er workshops gegeven door Nederlandse muziekproducers Nobody Beats the Drums, DJ Kypski, Earth Tone Tek en Newworldaquari- um. Tevens waren er leraren van SAE aanwezig voor de workshops over Homestudio akoestiek en de Basics van Mastering. Met alle studio‘s en klaslokalen maximaal gevuld konden we concluderen dat het een geslaagd evenement was. The commercial was made with a dedicated team of volunteers and support fromSAEInstitute.Amircontinuedhisstudies at the prestigious New York Film Academy. Check the commercial here: www.youtu.be/rAVBaVLSc90 n Reclamespot voor Donor Registratie Website 12 jaar geleden kreeg Amir Zaghian als kleine jongen een donor nier transplantatie. 11 jaar later, na afgestudeerd te zijn bij SAE Institute Amsterdam voor Digital Film Ma- king, besluit Amir een commercial te maken voor de Nederlandse donor registratie web- site www.jaofnee.nl. De commercial is ge- maakt met een team van gedreven vrijwil- ligers en ondersteuning vanuit SAE Insti- tute. Amir studeert nu aan de prestigieuze New York Film Academie.
