With many ‘oohs’ and ‘ahhs’, and phenomenon not explain- able with logic, they had the opportunity to enjoy numerous recordings and studio productions on high-quality equip- ment – the purchase price of which could compete with that of your own home! Fachsimpelei über die Verwendung von gutem Strom, Tren- nung der Komponenten und Entwicklungen der Branche rundeten den Besuch ab und entließ alle Beteiligten tief beeindruckt. http://www.rhapsody-highend.de Drum recording workshop at Hammer Studios n A drum recording workshop for our Audio Engineering diploma students took place at the Hammer Studios, Ham- burg. The event was held in conjunction with producers Eike Freese (DarkAge) and Chris Harms (Lord Of The Lost), who are also lecturers at SAE Institute Hamburg. In the half-day workshop students were able to develop their existing knowledge of microphones and instruments and had the opportunity to watch the producer team laying down the foundations for the sound of the upcoming third Lord Of The Lost album. n Drum Recording Workshop in den Hammer Studios Am 9.6. fand in den Hamburger Hammer Studios, in Zusam- menarbeit mit den Produzenten Eike Freese (DarkAge) und Chris Harms (Lord Of The Lost), welcher auch als Dozent für SAE Institute Hamburg tätig ist, für unsere Audio Engi- neering Diploma Studenten ein Drum Recording Workshop statt. In dem halbtägigen Workshop konnten die Studenten das bereits vorhandene Wissen in den Fachgebieten Mikrofonie und Instrumentenkunde weiter ausbauen und hatten die Möglichkeit, dem Producer-Team beim Legen des Grund- steins für den Sound des kommenden, dritten Lord Of The Lost Albums über die Schulter zu schauen.
